London Care Services (LCS) is delivered by London Councils. LCS are a regional collaborative arrangement, working on behalf of 19 Local Authorities (18 London boroughs and one partner authority; Milton Keynes).
Local Authorities and partners use the LCS Model Contract to make placements with Independent Fostering Agencies (IFA) and Residential Children's Homes (RCH). The contract places the best interests of the child first and supports local authorities and providers to deliver services of the highest quality.
The work of LCS is overseen by the Association of London Directors of Children's Services (ALDCS), which London Councils hosts.
