LCS provides a regional collaborative arrangement for commissioning and procuring residential and fostering services for looked-after children.

Welcome

LCS was set-up in 1999, becoming part of London Councils in 2013 to provide a regional collaborative arrangement for commissioning and procuring residential and fostering services for looked-after children.  LCS Local Authority members include 19 Local Authorities (18 London boroughs and one partner authority; Milton Keynes).

Member authorities use the register of LCS approved providers and bespoke software to find quality services for looked-after children. The collaborative arrangement is open for local authorities to join at any time.
