Invitation to join the LCS Model Contract - Applications are now open!

London Care Services (LCS) is a service of London Councils that advertises providers of foster and residential care to 36 member local authorities, including all 33 London boroughs and three counties. LCS provides a single “Model Contract” for use by all member authorities and service providers, which significantly reduces bureaucracy for all parties.

London Councils is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications from providers who offer the following services:

• Core (non-specialist) services located anywhere in England
• Specialist and Targeted services located anywhere in England

If you are an independent fostering agency or residential children's home you can now apply to become part of a list of providers offering their services through the LCS Model Contract.

There are over 331 services already part of LCS.  The benefits are huge.  If your application is successful, you will be able to offer placements through the Model Contract to all 36 members.  You will also be able to advertise your services in the secure area of our website, which is used by our members to find placements for their looked after children.  

Across all member authorities, on average, a high proportion of their spending on these services is done through the LCS Model Contract.
